Neal B. Freeman has already set forth the argument HERE:
[W]e need a candidate whose fidelity to principle has already been tested and affirmed. We need a candidate who has already developed an integrated political philosophy and is thus composed in dealing with the rapid-fire issues of a national campaign. (We are working with a short runway here. The first GOP debate, on Fox, is less than four months away. CNN hosts the second debate in June.) We need a candidate who has already attracted major media attention and demonstrated that he or she can withstand it...
Q.E.D.: conservatives should support for the GOP nomination in 2012 Jim DeMint of South Carolina.
The petition is HERE:
To: Senator Jim DeMint
WHEREAS every election for President of the United States presents an opportunity to choose new leadership while engaging in a vigorous debate on core national principles;
WHEREAS the opportunities presented by the 2012 presidential campaign should include strong, consistent and nationally-recognized leaders in the conservative movement; and

DeMint Says 'No' to 2012 Run for President
Don’t start acting like a palintard, please.
I am 100% on board!
What can I do to help?
I like Demint, and due regard to those who prefer him. But real leaders don’t have to be drafted...... flame on....
Beware of PetitionOnline... It’s overrun by leftwing whackos. Don’t enter your email.
True. But every potential candidate has groups of people trying to do just that.
DeMint’s still got the door ajar a bit and if no one steps up he may well be enticed to throw his hat in the ring.
“He hasn’t completely shut the door on running,” the aide says. “If there is a massive void in the group of candidates, who knows what could happen?
Still, DeMint’s advisers put his chances of running at about 5 percent—or, as they might put it, not quite a “no.”
Zero executive experience. He will fold like a cheap suit.
Draft him? The Bushies are trying desperately to.
Might be Jebs only hope...
I would vote for DeMint in a heartbeat ...
I think DeMint would be an Excellent Choice for the GOP to run for President....But he has said no before so I don’t know if he will or not...I would back him if does decide to run! DeMint/Palin 2012
CNN Anchor Wolf Blitzer asked DeMint, “Are you going to run for the Republican presidential nomination?”
DeMint responded, “No, no I'm not.”
The tone was very clear, although many who are running deny their candidacy at first but later announce it. In this case, DeMint may be concentrating on his work in the Senate, where he just sponsored a bill repealing ObamaCare.
So with Jim DeMint out of the running, who will take his place for the GOP on the primary ballot?

I hope he answers the phone if Sarah Palin call him to be her VP.
Have A Nice Day.
BTTT!!!!!!!

Follow Sen. DeMint on Twitter.
Guess that means you're for Mike Huckabee? Since Huckabee, with nearly eleven full years as Governor, has the most executive experience and all...
Jim DeMint. Good man. Solid conservative.
Unfortunately, the guy looks like a Mafia enforcer.
As we saw emphatically demonstrated in 2008, superficiality and “visuals” rule in the modern media political environment.
If you think the the voting public, particularly the juice boxers who swooned over the Hoax and Chains pied piper are going to go for a dour looking, baggy, middle aged guy, your delusional.
And don’t think this discrepancy in visuals isn’t going to be exploited and emphasized by the Obamamedia.
Regrettably, the only candidate who holds up in the light of political superficiality is the ultimate RINO mannequin, Mittens.
This is a large part of the reason the Republic was dealt a fatal blow on Nov 4, 2008.
then call and tell his staff to pass your support along
