Moran: GOP won in 2010 because 'a lot of people' don't want black president (BARF ALERT)

Rep. James P. Moran Jr. (D-Va.) is once again drawing attention for making controversial comments to the media, after the told the Arab television network Alhurra that the GOP won in November because many Americans don't want a black president.
In the interview, which has been flagged by the Weekly Standard and The Washington Post's Jennifer Rubin, Moran said that Democratic losses in the 2010 elections ...
... happened because of the same reason the Civil War happened in the United States. The Civil War happened because the Southern states, particularly the slaveholding states, didn't want to see a president who was opposed to slavery. In this case a lot of people in this country, I believe, don't want to be governed by an African American, particularly one who is inclusive, who is liberal, who wants to spend money on everyone and who wants to reach out to include everyone in our society. That's a basic philosophical clash.

Moran’s one of the idiots from the occupied north. He’s our own version of Alan Grayson. Unfortunately his district is so infested with like-minded libtards, defeating him will be next to impossible.

And the problem with that is?
I mean, if Blacks can vote 95%+ for president because he’s black, why can’t other races vote against him for the same reason?
Personally, I just don’t like his politics.

I have said it before, I’ll say it again. For me, my disdain for President Obama has absolutely nothing to do with the color of his skin. It has everything to do with the content of his character. Isn’t that what Martin Luther King, Jr., dreamed?

The libs keep claiming this because they don’t want to deal with the actual issues. It’s easier to make outrageous charges against your opponent then to “talk turkey”, especially when you know you’ll lose any real debate.

I don’t know if he’s black or not.
Better get a look at that birth certificate to make sure.

You know, this crap really gets old...especially coming from a white man.
If you want to look for "obsession with color", look no further than the democrat party;
United Negro College Fund
Black Caucus
Miss Black America
NAACP
etc, etc, etc.
I watch the nightly news and the obsession with blacks from the media and liberals is astounding. I see them stick a microphone in the face of a homeless black man, barley sober enough to say his name, with probably a 3rd grade education and ask him what he thinks about things, like the "International Monetary Fund", or "Global Warming"...and if anyone - well anyone who happens to be white - challenges his answer, then all of a sudden the white guy is a racist.
They just can't get it through their propeller beanies that you can NOT like one particular black guy, or black group, without being a racist.
But the left is plagued with "groupthink"...individual opinion is our their circle of intelligence.
Anyone who tells me that being black is the only reason that I don't like obama, can kiss my butt. I would type the list out of what the commie bastard has done to our country, but the left would still say that I am a racist.
For their information, I hated the clintons too, and they didn't do 1/10th the damage to America that the Kenyan has done.
So Mr. Moron, or Moran, or whatever, take your race card adn shove it where the sun don't shine, because we don't accept them here.

It’s all they’ve got.
And, can you really blame them for playing the race card at every turn?
We’ve let it “work” when we shut up when we’re winning the debate and they drop the card.
Time for it not to work anymore.

Moran has a point; look at the flack that Clinton took as the first Black President.
To: rabscuttle385
That’s not true! Bill Clinton was elected!
To: rabscuttle385
It’s not that I don’t want a black president. I just don’t want THIS black president.

I don’t like him cause he’s a commie — not because he’s black. Heck, I could think of several black Americans I’d rather have in the White House. Real leaders, not some radical fraud who jived his way to the top. I grew up in the NYC area in the late 60s and 70s. I know his type. He was the guy on the street manning the three card monte table. The guy who used to get away with lying before the age of the internet. Back then no one would know you had a fake ID or SSN. Now it’s catching up to him. Just a matter of time.
To: rabscuttle385
They have to go back 150 years - to the ancestors in THEIR OWN PARTY - to try to make a point.
Shows how bankrupt they are.
