Yes, I caught that too. Obama patted Geithner on the back and said hello and then moved away and totally ignored Hillary. Wow. What’s up with that?

BO’s speech was the same ol’ community organizing pitch, and easy for him to deliver. That’s who he is and so that’s what he attempted...trying to unite the people. But of course then when we heard his plans....nothing whatsoever has changed...all his high points are exactly as he said before he just used this time to try and get more people on board with him. But the agenda is still the same.
I laughed when he said he’d veto anything with earmarks....hahahahahahaha...the Republicans had already said they would not be sending anything with earmarks...once again the cad trying to sound tough on nothing at all of his making.

It might have been easy to deliver but he still can’t read a teleprompter worth a damn.
Several other political websites were slower than normal during the peak SOTU for me. As I recall only one tor two networks would carry Bachman’s entire speech which might explain the sluggish site. Just massive amounts traffic IMHO.
I thought it was just my TV. He looks much better than Jindal though.
It was a dumbed down speech. All over the map. I felt like he was lying to me.
Ryan came on and it felt fresh — like someone was talking straight for a change.
Bachman was fine. She brought in more of the hard truth — hard stuff for many to hear. (and I hated her makeup). But definitely more leveling with the American people.
FR used to run like a gazelle during these events, with thousands of posts.
Yep. Something isn’t right.
I just got off the phone with John. He thinks he finally found the problems and fixed them. It was a compound error in the system configuration which only occurred under a heavy load and was very tough to spot. I asked him to stop in and explain it himself. Hopefully he will. Also, hopefully, the problem is fixed or at least he has an inkling of where to look next.
Yep, a live event used to be when FR shined...obviously someone out there is messing with us.
