I’m surprised they chose the baggage claim area. People tend to be even more densely packed in while lining up for departures and you usually don’t have to undergo any screening to get into the initial check-in area for departures. Although some baggage claim areas can be accessed by the public, in many large airports (Toronto for example), non-passengers cannot enter the baggage claim area and there is a security official posted at the exit.
Wasn’t there also a train station explosion in Moscow, today? Or is this the same accident?
WTF?
Yes, Islamists fight each other. They also work together when it suits them.
The idea that these Islamists are “different” than the Islamists Vlad is arming to the teeth is rather short-sighted. They can be one and the same in the time it takes to find a common interest.
Maybe Putin will order his Chechen thugs into Georgia again to massacre more Christians.
Yeah, Russia doesn’t play. They’ll kill whatever number of innocent civilians it takes.
I think it depends on the airport. When you come out of the passport area in the international terminal in Madrid, for example, you go downstairs to the baggage claim area and you can then wheel your luggage cart right through a very wide door into the (non-secure) arrivals terminal, where there are crowds of people piled up waiting for friends and family, as well as limo drivers picking up tour groups or business travelers. I’d suspect this airport was designed similarly. Made to order for someone wanting to cause mayhem, unfortunately.
mooslim credo: I love you. I will kill you and your family.
To funny! I can picture elder Abram Yoder plowing the high pasture with an iPad hanging from his mule's behind. Or Old Jacob Troyer checking stock quotes out in his milk-shed.
Seriously - many Amish don’t worry about wireless things. It’s wires they don’t like. Tons of PA Amish run around with cellular phones.
I had no idea. How can a culture broadly reject technology, then suddenly overlook the insidiousness of the cell phone?
It is either Islamic terrorists, or Global Warming religion kooks.
Is that the homicide bomber’s head that they recovered from the airport?
