The new Republican House majority leader says he doesn't think questions about President Barack Obama's citizenship should play a role in the discussion of policy matters.
Two years into the Obama administration, so-called birthers continue to argue that Obama isn't a natural-born citizen and that he hasn't proved he's constitutionally qualified to be president. Birth records in Hawaii haven't dissuaded them.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor says he believes Obama is a citizen and that most Americans are beyond that question.

Cantor should say:
“I have no idea what the story is, but for $15he should release his records to put this to rest, next question?”
Why oh why can’t these politicians get the story right. If he can’t prove his citizenship, then he’s hiding something, and if he’s hiding something, what is it?
I hope the Republican congresscritters let this one slide.
Lay low on the “birther” deal. Come 2012 primary season, one of husseins democrat competitors can use it and make him put up or shut up.
Do I think he's selling the USA out? No, I have no direct evidence of treason, or duplicity. I just think he acts to support what Israel desires. Until recently US and Israeli foreign policy were one. Today, that assumption is clouded by politics.
I wonder if Jerusalem and official DC have grown tired of wrangling and have made piece? Why else would Cantor make a statement of support for Hussein?
Cringing Negativism Network: Eric Cantor is not leadership material.
...of Kenya
I can't come up with another reason for a Republican leader to try to bury this important Constitutional question ... can you?
You are getting warmer . . .
I don’t think Cantor is a RINO, but I do disagree with him on this. Obama is a Kenyan born Muslim. For that, and a thousand other reasons, he is not qualified to be president.
Exactly right!
There is no doubt he’s not a citizen...the question is “IS HE A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN”.
Amen....I can’t stand his voice.....and he’s like a willow in the wind.
Fine if you actually think the Democrat party isn’t a criminal conspiracy. ;^)
;^)
He is an awful spokesman. Only the establishment could listen to him and not see it. His talk is always a weak whine.
ugh
I thought Cantor was supposed to be a smart guy.

One who is domiciled in a country, and who is a citizen, though neither native nor naturalized, in such a sense that he takes his legal status from such country.
Anyone to send 10.000 emails to Cantor to teach him a Constitution lesson???
Wasn’t he listening during the reading of the Constitution??? It wasn’t like there was a lull in the chamber around the time they got to the reading of the qualifications to hold office.

I have not actually seen any evidence he is a citizen.
