RUSH: I've been sitting on this story all week, purposely, just to see where it would go. And it has grown. This governor out in Hawaii, Neil Abercrombie, a well-known socialist, by the way, longtime member of Congress, now the governor of Hawaii, eally stepped in it earlier, well, I think it was not even this week, it was last week. The governor, Neil Abercrombie, some time ago said, (paraphrasing) "Look, I was there when Obama was born in Hawaii. That birth certificate, it exists. Everybody knows it. I was there when that kid was born." Turns out he wasn't there, and he admitted he wasn't there. He was there in spirit. He was trying to say he's that certain. See, he thinks that Obama ought to just get this off the table. Abercrombie is worried that this birth certificate thing is going to be a lingering problem heading into 2012. So Abercrombie, big friend of Obama, tried to step in there and head this off at the pass. It turns out he can't find the birth certificate, the governor of Hawaii cannot find it. It's just a notation that somebody wrote down.

The states need to pass bills requiring the long form bc to be candidates. Make him show it.

A notation somewhere because 0bama was not born in Hawaii and the grandparents called it in to have a certification of live birth issued ass opposed to the long form certificate of live birth.
The certifications are the reason why the state doesn’t accept them as a valid form of ID for residency purposes IIRC.
Two State officials said they have and have seen the original Birth Certificate.
Fukino said she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have personally verified that the health department holds Obama's original birth certificate.

We’ll get to the bottom of this about the time Obummers’ second term ends.
Rush opened his show today with all of this and he thinks this is all a trap so they can bring it out at the last minute of O’s second campaign, thus proving we’re all dummies for believing it all this time.
This could be a “rope-a-dope” ploy as Rush warns, or I was thinking it might be a Clinton “long knives” operation.
There is certainly no love lost between the Clintons and Obama and throwing a wrench into Obamas re-election could be to Hillary’s benefit.
I have a birth certificate right here, says I was born in Portugal. I’ve never been to Portugal. Maybe it’s not real... it’s written in crayon and salad dressing.
All we need is one State to verify BC’s.
Then an opponent can point out that a candidate cannot run in a State that verifies eligibility.
One state is all we need.

All that Boehner needs to do is to bring forth a Bill that states "All candidates for public office MUST produce a long-form Birth Certificate" to identify themselves to the Public as to where they came from.
Preferably, they would include language to the effect that "Consistent with the U.S. Constitution's Requirement, this long-form Birth Certificate assures the Candidate meets the 'Natural Born Citizenship' Requirement."
