Actually - maybe it is time the Ivy graduates of hard science majors divorced themselves from the soft majors.

Don’t buy into this “hate the Ivy” stuff - a bunch of us are your Drs and scientists and aerospace engineers, etc.

Oh, I used to work with a Harvard magna cum laude who was brilliant and conservative. I'm working with a Yaley PhD now who's a miserbobble Commie puke but otherwise a very nice guy. The former was a librul arts feller, the latter a Geologist (and a damn good one). The problem isn't liberal arts vs scientists or Ivy Leaguers versus human beings, it's the notion that somehow the IL antecedent confers a legitimacy that it does not.

However, "a bunch of us" applies to a very wide demographic and we do have other equally sterling sources for scientists and doctors. A little intellectual humility goes a long way. I'll try to take that advice myself...someday. ;-)
