Sounds like if you were king, you would be pretty lose with spending money raised by the peasants taxes.
The people chose this administration with its very definite anti domestic energy policies.
This guyhas been around for years... dunno if a working model exists...

“Your math is quite fuzzy!( At a ratio of 400 to 1.) “
Excuse me... I didn’t provide you with any “math”, I just provided you with the conversion. You can check it with your heating and air conditioning guy if you need to verify it.
As for getting more power out than you put in, it’s done all the time in a nuclear fission reactors. It’s also done all the time in the millions of fusion reactors scattered around the universe. The closest being the sun...
Alchemy in it’s purest form?.......Reaction yes, fusion, NO.
Very little electricity is generated by oil. This would effect coal companies the most.
Any connection to the Dean drive? it’s been around since the ‘50’s but I don’t think it’s quite ready for market just yet.
Yeah, but at least I'd spend money on infrastructure that makes sense for the nation. Not waste it on stuff that doesn't provide a long term return.
There was a fire resistant substance called Starlite or something like that years ago. Where is it on the market?
Now there is pure “perpetual” motion for you......Or should I say “intellectual motion” on your part?
What they are claiming is that hydrogen atoms inserted into a nickle lattice can be made to fuse through quantum-mechanical effect at temperatures lower than plasma. I don't see any fundamental physics violations that would necessarily bar that.
The way they are going about it leads me to think this may be the case. Despite my earlier statement about physics not necessarily be violated by cold fusion, I have low confidence that THESE GUYS have real, working technology.
That’s joule..............
You got my point perfectly.
Quantum Mechanics is a Cult form of Physics that branched off of Hawking's little band of eggheads. Their problem is that they cannot prove their theory and they have retooled it so many times that even they are hopelessly confused.
Another perpetual motion machine. Certainly a fraud.
“So, you mean the Sun and Stars are still growing and producing more nuclear fuel (energy) than the fuel they have to burn?”
No dummy, the sun and the stars are just examples of successful fusion reactors. They don’t burn fuel. They convert matter into energy.
The reactor in question (if it works) converts nickle into copper and some of the mass is converted to energy. It doesn’t “burn” fuel either.
In Europe, heat is defined as kW.
Specifically:
1 watt is approximately 3.41214 BTU/h

If (big if) nickel is being changed into copper then nuclear fusion is taking place. That isn't just a chemical reaction. Give me a few megawatts of power and a particle accelerator and I can do that, so the fact that it can happen isn't alchemy, magic or a chemical reaction. Since both copper and nickel have atomic numbers less than iron the conversion from nickel and hydrogen to copper will convert matter to energy. Now the only question is can it happen at a low temperature and can be done efficiently enough where the amount I put in is less than the amount I can harvest.
I don't know if cold fusion works, but having more copper when you finish than you started with points to something nuclear happening. The next thing to check is impurities higher up the list to see if the copper is coming as the decay product of another heavier isotope.
