Double Plus for the use of tinfoil in a free energy generator. The irony is quite nice.

In the lab they have done similar tests and obtained 400 times more out than in...
Sounds like...
... a capacitor!
If this is simply storing slowly and releasing quickly, it’s no miracle.

they also claim to be going into production, expecting to have these available for purchase commercially within a year. Well, I guess they'll make good on that claim within a year or so, or they won't.

If had a device that produced more power than it consumed then I would sell the power and not the device. I would not allow anyone to have access to the device. I would use the profits from the sale of power to build more devices, set up the devices in other locations and continue selling power. All the devices would be rigged to self destruct in the event of unauthorized entry.
I would keep a low profile, gradually allowing trusted family members in on how the technology works and how best to grow and protect the business. I would explore off shore and foreign power generating options.

Whatever. Fusion is taking two or more atoms and fusing them into a new atom typically defined by the the atomic number of the two combining atoms. The lack of discussion about the resultant element is disturbing. Also the lack of discussion about the wavelength or energy of the radiation is also worrisome. This defines the nuclear processes occurring, or it is the fingerprint of what has occurred.
Guess what they want next...FUNDING!

Pons and Fleischmann - The Sequel?
To: ClearCase_guy
"The US government has been throwing trillions of dollars at all kinds of things lately. Imagine what would happen if we poured a trillion dollars into cold fusion? For one thing, I think it would make the Middle East a far less important place. That's a payoff right there."I agree. We should be funding warm fusion, cold fusion, and nuclear. Wind shouldn't be funded at all. Biofuels and solar should be funded at the research level only. No supplementation for products that aren't proven to be market viable.
If I were king, I'd ...
- Upgrading the grid, to handle new plants.
- Preparing new power sites that could be used for either nuclear or fusion.
- Be building at least some nuclear plants.
- Have regional sites prepared that could quickly accept small concrete nuclear plants in the event of disasters.
- Fund battery research.
- And fund the design of conversion kits for autos so that as soon as cheap electricity became available, vehicles could be converted.
A focus on lowering energy prices, both electrical and gasoline, would put funds back in consumers prices, lower the costs of food and goods which are dependent on energy prices , and seriously help the economy.

Very simple to prove/disapprove if independent testing is allowed. The device, based on the size in the picture, is one hell of a battery alone if it can produce 15KW for 24 hours.

Helium 3 reactors are a far more interesting proposal. But as with all of these things the cost to start is astronomical.
Just getting enough helium 3 for any large scale testing requires a trip to the moon.

Buyer beware.Reminds me of those "GET RICH IN (whatever)" shows on TV. The 'inventor' makes more money off sales of the book, the tapes, the course, seminars, than any of the 'investors' do with the (whatever).
OTOH, it is simply a matter of time until someone finds a more efficient method of generating power. The trick is to recognize it when it happens.
If we truly desire to explore 'space', we have got to come up with a better 'power' source.

“Cold Fusion” is in and of itself, a violation of the laws of physics. Heat is a byproduct of fusion. “Cold fusion” implies the absence of heart from fusion, which is a violation of Physics.
They also were unable to give the amount of heat “produced” in BTU terms. What the hell is “10KW” of heat? Watts are the measurement of units of power, not heat. This whole article reeks from consequential B.S.

Sounds like... ... a capacitor! Uhhh, you cannot get more energy OUT of a capacitor than you put in.
You can get more CURRENT, but not more power.

Yeah it was a “hot” idea back in the 80’s.

Bad news if it is true. All the stock holders in the fuel related market aren’t going to like it. There are billions of dollars hanging in the balance, and it will be easier to buyout the patent rights so it will never hit the consumer market. Just think how much oil consumption will be reduced, and how the price of oil will drop. All the oil producers aren’t going to be happy, including the USA.

EYE IZ LOZT.
It doesn’t produce electricity, it produces heat.
400 watts constant input to produce (and here’s the ? part) 15000 (potential/maximum/then it blows up) watts of HEAT.
I didn’t know heat was measured in watts.
