Seems as if Republicans are particularly inept at creating alternate plausible arguments such as:
“While it would be possibly a nice gesture at a normal times, what a nation need most in a time or turmoil, tragedy and uncertainty is for traditions to continue as they always have and not a lot of changing things up and confusion.”
They seem to fall into the trap of thinking they have to give a yes or no answer to this sort of thing.
No let’s call it out office in two years bunch.

This is exactly the sort of attitude most people *thought* they were electing in November.
We don't want to reach across the aisle to Marxists. We don't want bipartisanship with Nazis. We don't want to sit with traitors or share bread with parasites.
We want our country, our culture, and our future back.
And the Devil take anyone who gets in our way.
How does truth “compromise” with lies?

There is no compromising with these people,
only defeating them or capitulating to them.

I don’t have to care, and you can care all you want about window dressing. I care about how they vote. You can get your panties in a wad about what it looks like on tv if you want to. I’m not being gamed, I’ve been clued in for a long time. If you just woke up, I’m glad. Welcome to the real world, I’ve known what was going on for quite some time. Where they sit and how much they clap makes no nevermind to me.
Agree. We did not vote for them to get along. Besides, I want to see the left and right sides of the Congress during the SOTU. It will not be interesting if they mix it all kumbaya.
I actually think it’s funny that people think they were more civil in the past. They were not.
