Watching the libs implode is like watching a train wreck in slow-motion. It’s scary to see but impossible to ignore. These people are nuts.

Loughner’s horrible actions can be linked to the influence of leftist ideology.

Progressivism widely teaches that human life has no intrinsic value. Through liberal sentencing of convicted criminals, it teaches that committing horrible crimes such as killing other people will likely bring minimal consequences. In this way, liberalism encourages the sociopath to kill.

Progressivism is founded on the absurd belief that certain people can be given the power to give and to take away the rights of other people. This principle confirms to the sociopath that he is morally free to kill other people as he chooses.

Perhaps most significant is the fact that leftist thinking is by nature incoherent, a condition resulting from the chaos of relativism.

Relativism, the bedrock of progressive ideology, asserts there is no ultimate truth, allowing leftists to engage in their common practice of asserting one thing today and then completely contradicting themselves tomorrow. (Like schizophrenics do—and it is the basis for the democrats ignoring the violence in their own rhetoric.) Take it a step further and you have insanity, then chaos and destruction.

Loughner merely followed progressive ideology to its ultimate conclusion.

Sarah Palin being frog-marched into a squad car by Obamulan "law enforcement."

Yeah, that'll go over well with the millions of Americans who bitterly cling to their... what was that again Barry... guns and religion??

Why don;t they just introduce a bill to outlaw all parties besides the Democrats?

I am sure it’d pass in several states.

Stuart Jeanne Bramhall is an ex-pat American who fled the United States after suffering what she says was a directed intimidation campaign against her because of her political activities and perceived affiliations.

About Dr Stuart Bramhall
I am a 62 year old American who emigrated to New Zealand seven years ago for political reasons. I work as a child and adolescent psychiatrist for the New Zealand National Health Service. I am also a long time activist. At present I am active in my union, the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists, and serve on the National Executive of the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand.

I thought this was a particularly great signature:
buddy joe parker
we need to shut down palin, fox, rush, the tea party racists and anyone else that doesn't love Obama.
Then we need to have only the democrat party and Obama president forever.
I mean, that sounds reasonable, right? LOL

(As well as oh so literate!)

It's not funny, IMO. Some of the people signing that petition are hoping Sarah Palin will be killed or at least become "collateral damage".

"Right LadyMiko. This is exactly the purpose of indicting someone - so that there can be an investigation. Other option is for Americans to call for a grand jury investigation. And DaveyMarx, I think you are right, as well. If the federal government doesn't pursue justice for Jessica Giffords, then the only other alternative is street justice."

"Of course, if the petition is denied, it should be accepted that Palin could be similarly targeted. It's a pretty nasty turn of events but the incompetents in charge now should get some indication of the nation's discontent and perhaps it might even have some effect on gun control."

"Congratulations. I think this is a great success. Great movements come from modest beginnings. I'm reminded of the principled participation of intellectual celebrities like Bertrand Russell in the early non-proliferation movement--a few dozen people with signs marching outside the DOD. A few thousand this time, and maybe we can stop the proliferation of Palin's lies and shut her up."

How about Gabrielle Giffords. She must have made a remarkable recovery in order to sign this petition.

I hope this petition convinces people that mingling with liberals at the State Of The Union Address will accomplish nothing, but it won't.

Republicans will still fall for the ploy.
