Thank you, GG. I'm not the type of person who would do such a thing.
What I have done, is put up an emergency back-up site for Freepers to have a place to gather when FR goes down. I did that about two years ago. It doesn't get much traffic, even during outages, but it's there, nonetheless.
I don’t think we will ever know unless someone can hack to get the name.
Freepers are a pretty resourceful and tenacious bunch. I think someone will eventually root out this person's identity.
Go to Wikipedia's page about Free Republic and click on the View History tab. The funny part is that the Wiki page keeps reverting back b/c whoever is trying to change it won't source their information! Maybe this info will give someone a clue as to the identity.
