“I think a l ot of this is about giving the sheriff who spoke out against anything sane a pass for letting Loughner off so many times in the past.”

I would love to examine the moneys sent to dems by the family of the perp. The sher’ff is protecting the uber-lib parents.

And I get so tired of the term “alleged” shooter. When you have dozens of witnesses, it can't be described as “alleged” He IS the shooter.

I didn't watch Unreliable Sources with Kurtz, but the fact remains that the Left and the MSM are inciting violence against Palin and her family and they expect her to remain quiet. She has a vested interest in this discussion, which she had no desire to be part of nor should she have been even mentioned just hours after the shooting in this choreographed attempt by the Left to destroy her.

Obama's plea for healing goes unheeded amid 'incredible' spike in death threats against Sarah Palin after Tucson shooting

January 13--A different Palin aide, Rebecca Mansour, told USA Today that the increase in threats since Saturday has been "incredible." "There has been an incredible increase in death threats against Gov. Palin since the tragedy in Arizona, since she's been accused of having the blood of those victims on her hands," she said. "When you start to accuse people of having the blood of innocent people on their hands, it incites violence."

It is worth noting that Palin received an increase in death threats long before her blood libel speech. And we even had the incident of some idiot shooting at his TV because of his unhappiness about Bristol Palin advancing on "Dancing with the Stars." This is dangerous stuff the MSM and the Left are playing with.

Actually Ahmmmm so Pour meandered into unknown ground for her.

she inadvertently stumbled into a scenario where everyone was doing things on their own and needed no govt.official to tell them what to do.

The list of heroes at the shooting in Arizona is endless and all were true American heroes doing what we do best, the right thing during a crisis.

The real story in the Arizona shootings is about brave Americans who saved the day not Big Government. Govt.only gets in the way as in Hippa laws and other laws that local law enforcement used as excuses not to jail/confine Jared to begin with.

The Doctor David who took charge and went from victim to victim is what the USA is all about not big govt. Must have been quite a shock for Washerwoman and Christianne who lean on big govt for all their needs.

Patricia Mason,Col. Bill Badger these are the heroes of Tuscon not govt.

It was pretty obvious that local Tuscon and Pima County law enforcement is now trying to get a pass for not stopping an obvious psycho in their midst. Especially when they had several opportunities. However this is how liberals govern.Anyone can do anything. They are crisis managers only never preventive.

One of the locals who lived near Jared stated that he went from a jazz musician to psycho in two years and no one noticed? Sounds strange to me.

Later washerwoman after taking credit along with Piglosi for Gabby opening her eyes(oui Veh) made it clear that it was big governments duty to provide more and more money for the whacked out nuts in the US instead of locals.

More nanny govt. coming at us no matter where or what the situation is. Obmacare is the answer and we wascally Wepublicans want to kill it shame on us.!!!

Republicans don’t want to replace it, we want the free market to solve the insurance problem. Get out of the way and let the market work.

Aw jeez.

This is tantamount to admitting that we must “all get along” or else some nut will start killing people.

Hope the House guys refuse.

Governor Palin is playing by that old basketball adage
"challenge every shot"

and when these shots go directly to her character it is the right thing to do.

I tuned in in time to see the “panel” crush Sarah’s video. The pompous jerks.......

Yeah me too. I couldn't believe no one defended her right to defend herself from scurrilous attacks. They all thought the 'slander' was really a non-issue and the MSM was doing a great job retracting all the hype. I call BS!

Like Rush commented last week: Sarah Palin was being 'raped' by the MSM and everyone was telling her, just lay back and enjoy it. I paraphrase but the gist is there.

I'm no huge Sarah Palin fan and took issue when she came down to Georgia for Karen Handel in the Governor's race. I was pissed really and informed her of such.

Still, there is no reason for anyone to not defend themselves when being 'shot at' (excuse the phrase) from all sides.

I say give 'em hell. It was so much fun to watch the MSM and many conservatives get a bad case of the vapors over the 'blood libel' phrase. I loved her using it.

Hi Pat,
Thanks for sharing the recent events in DE politics! I always enjoy your posts :-)

In case you haven’t seen it, here’s another great article by Clarice Feldman on the American Thinker web site on 0bama and the Tucson shooting and pep rally (I mean memorial), etc.

Last paragraph in the article:
“Anyway, timing is everything; you and your wife both show great natural talent for dissimulation and propagandizing. Maybe my hints will just help you be better at it.”

Thanks to all who have responded to my admitted vitriol for Chris Christie this morning, even those who take issue with me.

But I’m tired of Republicans who are far quicker to attack conservatives in their own party than lefties among the Demoviks.

My position is that Christie is a classic Rino in that he runs as a conservative and governs (or legislates) as a liberal—ala Schwarzenegger, McCain, Graham, you all know the rest....

FReepers list Giuliani as one of these people and I agree he is a Rino — but when did he ever attack a conservative?? If I’m wrong about this, point it out, fine. But I say you can be a Rino and not attack fellow Republicans for being conservatives—the classic McCain position.

Let’s face it: our chances of getting a conservative nominee in 2012 are in full-scale dwindle at this point, about ready to reach “sprial down” before going into Absolute Freefall.

All these internecine attacks on Palin will do is make Huckabee or Romney the nominee. Then, either one of them loses to Obamsky pure and simple.

What is our realpolitik fallback here?

Is it to start working to force Obamsky to the Right, understanding that we are stuck with him for 6 more years—??

This seems to be the doctrinaire Republican position at this point.

I’d rather go third party and I wish now Palin had done that after stepping down as governor. If nothing else, she would have run in 2012 in such manner to destroy the Republican party FOREVER—and wouldn’t THAT be a start???

Drugs rot brains. Those who want to have a wide distribution of pot so they can ‘balance their budgets’ are despicable.

Now some states are wrestling with the motor vehicle laws for people driving while on pot. Less pain, more accidents?

This country’s so called leaders have lost their minds.

CO wants to change their pot laws to allow convicted felons to sell pot.

As for the war slut, she was hoping for a blanket condemnation of the right from Fuller. She got more than she bargained for. I suspect she sent him a personal invite.

Sure didn’t’ fit her Kumbaya message.

She will have zillions of allies come the next election and the TP is even stronger.
As for FNS this morning,Roger Ailes is a Huck hack and has ordered the Fox News liberals to not let up on her,the Huckster's biggest obstacle, and commanded his “conservatives” to either smear her as well or damn her with faint praise.
Fox News-though not conservative-is at least the least Leftist of the TV news outlets.
The fact that Sarah Palin is still a commanding political force in America with even the FNC out to get her—is a testament to a true survivor of strong Christian character.

See my post #222. Palin and her family have been receiving an increase in death threats immediately after the shooting--much of it due to the Left and their accomplices in the MSM. This is not just a war of words or an academic discussion. It is a matter of life and death for the Palin family.

“Rendell says we need a rational discussion on guns. Asks, “Does any citizen need a clip with 33 bullets in it?””

Rendell is such a windbag. These are the kinds empty statements that the members of media just eat up. They never follow up with a question asking how that would have prevented what happened in Tucson since people who are planning on committing crimes using guns don’t usually make sure they are following gun laws.

And, yes, the phrase “civil discourse” is becoming very trite, especially when you understand the translation means to just agree with the libs on every issue.

I read Sarah’s book, review here

http://fishbookreviews.blogspot.com/search/label/%22Going%20Rogue%22%20by%20Sarah%20Palin

she goes into great detail about why she had to resign.

It was part of the liberal plan, to bankrupt and/or destroy her through frivolous and untrue lawsuits, the hope being that the unread masses would believe the headlines and she and Todd would be rendered financially bereft.

Of course they now call her a quitter. BECAUSE PLAN A WENT AWRY.

Sarah Palin has a plan, you can believe it. Watch the nut cases and see how rabid they become. That’s the sign of how sucessful Sarah is at keeping in front of the pack.

As far as I can see, her methodology of using Facebook to get out her message, of defending herself at every turn, with the ALASKA series which was environmental in a fashion and kept her out there....she’s winning, folks.

Quit beating her up, there’s plenty out there to do this.

Interesting how one complaint against GW Bush was he didn’t fight back when he needed to and now some people are thinking Palin was wrong to fight back over something as serious as this really is.
