Together We Thrive - Now that’s a Communitarian (read: Communist) slogan if I ever saw one. Think of all the Communist propaganda slogans you ever saw about brotherhood, comradeship and so forth (remember that they used to call each other “Comrade” and punished people by not allowing them to be called Comrade).
It reeks of hive mentality. A hive can 'thrive' if it has all the necessary means to. Food, water, shelter, correction population numbers. Basically, all the usual redistributive horsecrap.
I do not want to "thrive". I want to prosper! (and seek my own means to do so.)
This administration will not allow that. And it was apparent to anyone that this "memorial service" was indeed the kick-off to his re-election campaign. He had full control over that crowd and could have put a stop to the woots and wild applause. But he did not, his ego couldn't allow it.
