You notice the lack of right-left eye twitch? That was straight from the heart, no teleprompter. Outstanding.
She laid down the gauntlet for Zero’s hour long memorial drone that he will give today. I wonder if his speech writers are working on a rewrite now. Can he do in an hour what Sarah did in 5 minutes? Should be an interesting day.
She was definitely speaking right to the people and it was from the heart! I noticed that too, there was no eye movement as if reading from a prompter. She may have had it up on a screen, but you could tell she wasn't "reading" it. My guess is she spent some time practicing that speech to deliver it perfectly, as she did.
I suppose I see this because I'm an optician, so I'll point it out. People who wear glasses show reflections of what they're looking at, and some things can be deduced by looking at those reflections.
There's a large square source of light. It is offset to the right on her glasses, which means one of three things.
1) It's offset to the left from her view.
2) It's in the center of her view, and she naturally tilts her head slightly to the right while speaking.
3) It's in the center of her view and she wears her glasses slightly offset.
Next, the square source of light has a slight obstruction at the top right (from her view), and that obstruction is probably hanging more than a few feet in front of the square source of light, based on the paralax effect, where you see it in her right lens but not the left (from her perspective).
And there's another light or two there that appear to be from a chandelier.
My opinion is that the source of light is a window across the room, and from her view is to the left of the camera. There's no teleprompter, but the speech is rehearsed a few times.
Good job, Todd!
