Hey, we can all sue for anything we want. I think the sheriff is a shit, but I don’t think he’s responsible for one citizens actions any more than Rush is. I’m not defending him. Hindsight is 20/20. If everyone of his friends are coming forward now, why didn’t one of them pick up a damn phone. What happened to community and social responsibility. Here lies the problem..

I take that back. If he, as part of his sworn duty to protect, knew there to be a problem and did nothing because of a personal relationship with a city/county employee then there is culpablility.

If the Sheriff did not act on the facts of the situation, and if the parents of the shooter were county employees, - then any special consideration given by “Jakas” may be actionable.
Sheriff did not get elected to protect death threatening spawn of county employees.
