That they went back to the house tells me they are coming under some serious pressure to find Jack’s killer(s).

Did they need a new warrant for this search or are previous warrants “open ended” (for lack of a better term).

Why do they need a warrant at all? His wife can give them permission. At this stage of the game, we probably have an FBI Vet whom Jack and wife both knew....running the machine to catch Jack's killer.

If it were me, I would have taken lots of pictures of every room in the house and his closet in particular...cast foot prints at every entrance...and grab his clothes from the hamper...

They know what he left NYC wearing, and DC and at the pharmacy...then the video...then probably plenty of cameras no matter where he went or what building he enetered.
