This attorney said he had met Wheeler once before in 2009 but doesn't give the circumstances.
Connelly said it is possible that Jack was looking for him...but then says..naw...He didn't have an appointment...And I haven't been hired by the family.
He qualifies further...He wasn't working for the family at the time...(I wouldn't bet on that)
An important point, Connelly's main office is in PHILADELPHIA. The office in Wilmington opened on June 1, 2010.
One other thing: The Wheeler family had originally hired a DC Lawyer in the present case and that lawyer opted out.
His wife apparently did not take his name....
I don't know what to think...seems like something is/was just not right between him and his wife. He didn't call her after being hurt??

I hear what you're saying, but all families are different. I would die for my (grown) child; but we don't talk sometimes for two or three weeks. We live maybe 20 miles apart.
The Wheelers were married when they were both older and established in extremely busy careers. So while I hope the police are considering all possibilities, let's also keep an open mind. Not calling does not necessarily mean what it would mean to you.
Since he had classified info, they were both accustomed to his not being able to open up about many things. Maybe he was trying to protect her from fear or from doing something unexpected that might put him or both of them in more danger.
As noted in post 1086. Is it possible that Connelly's Philly office was his attempted destination when he was trying to get to Philadelphia?
