I sure hope AZ will be prosecuting the other murders. There’s no telling how long it will take the feds to execute Loughner.
And the Ft. Hood killer continues to be labelled ‘alleged’ shooter.
This is ridicules, why should there even be Federal laws like this, isn’t murder and attempted murder charges brought by AZ enough? Also, the whole terrorist thing is stupid, he wasn’t a terrorist, just a nut that wanted to kill a lot of people.
A Twinkie and a couple of bleeding heart liberals (Okay. Three Twinkies.) will trump all of their legal mumbo jumbo.
Most crimes are state offenses. Since two of the victims are federal officials, this becomes a federal case.
I demand a speedy trial. I see no reason why he can’t be tried ,convicted and executed by Jan 11th 2011!

Jan 9 (Reuters) - U.S. investigators said on Sunday they had found a document in the residence of the man charged with trying to kill Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords that discussed assassination plans.
An envelope in a safe in the residence of Jared Loughner contained handwriting stating “I planned ahead” and “My assassination” and the name “Giffords” along with what appears to be Loughner’s signature, according to charges filed in U.S. court in Phoenix.
Its a federal crime when federal officials were attacked. The state can file separate criminal charges in its own courts for crimes committed against residents of AZ.

will it take a year to get this case to trial?
I'm pretty sure he'll be in solitary confinement at the supermax federal prison in Indiana.
So I guess it's okay for the Federal Government to deny "equal protection of the laws"?

Does the name Vincent Foster mean anything to you? Apparently this is a matter of choice.

This dude is white...he’ll be expedited into a death sentence. He deserves it but since he’s white he has no race or religious card with which to fall back.
