TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Arizona authorities say a second man has been cleared of any involvement in Rep. Gabrielle Giffords shooting.
Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Ogan said Sunday that the man, a suspected accomplice in the shooting Saturday, was not involved.

Can someone point me to an article that discusses the other victims of the psychopath? Was there a conservative federal judge killed? How do they know he wasn’t the target? I hope other conservative judges have good security.

Allowing no crisis to go to waste means being able to MANAGE the crisis, not let it go completely FUBAR into the realm of slanderously unbelieveble speculation as this did.
I don’t know where I read or heard that the judge was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. (I think my husband told me, and I don’t know if he heard it or read it.) The judge goes to Mass every day. He usually goes downtown to Mass. He was running late yesterday and went to Mass at a church near where the shooting occurred. He stopped at Safeway to see his good friend, Gabby Giffords, when he saw the sign for the event. It was a coincidence that he showed up and was killed.
The lefties were hoping he was Todd Palin.
These events are depressing enough without having to listen to leftist idiots trying to blame it on conservatives.
Having said that, it is important to keep focused here. The seriousness of this tragedy has nothing to do with a conservative federal judge being shot and killed, but that a Democrat politician was shot. If the judge had been the target and the congresswoman had not been shot, we wouldn't have had an appearance and statement by Obama for days (unless he wanted to give a shout-out to someone).
He most likely did work alone. If there was someone else, it would be in the LE's best interest to put it out that there wasn't anyone so he'd slip up.

Go to link and see the second comment, by jwest, who points out that the judge was the first person to be shot, and could possibly have been the primary target.
That is correct, petitfour. The Judge was not scheduled to be there so it was nothing more than a terrible coincidence.
I don’t think the federal judge killed was conservative. He just happened to have stopped by the gathering after attending a church service. And like a few other folks where in the wrong place at the wrong time.
