From what we know about Jared Lee Loughner, there's nothing to suggest his politics could be characterized as "Tea Party" or even conservative.
Mainly he fits the category known as "whack job," but that won't stop Democrats from figuring out ways to exploit this.

This is disgusting. None of these pontificating leftists has the slightest clue as to what prompts violent behavior. Evidence that it is the result of people using words such as target is non-existent.
Even when those who commit violence “explain” themselves, there is often good reason to doubt that they are revealing their true motives.

The problem is the republicans never plainly call the democrats who try to exploit these events out for the gruesome, bloodsucking, cadaver parading fiends that they are. Why will they never stand up for truth and logic!?

Turing this shooting into a win-win for Democrats/Progressives is the obvious ‘solution’ for this tragedy....however the death of Suzanne Hopper on New Year’s day was no less a tragedy, perhaps even more so as she leaves two children and a husband. Precious little air time was given to this death other than to show her boss breaking into tears.....the true tragedy here is the thinly veiled pro Socialist view to the pilloried conservative one....had Gabrielle Giffords been a conservative would you have seen this much coverage?
They aren’t going to get anything regarding stricter gun laws passed in the house .

I’m starting to see some pushback against the idiot sheriff this morning.
DHS is already doing it trying to link him to American Renaissance.
I am surprised they aren’t trying to link him to the OathKeepers.
Maybe that is next.
We need to emphasize what he is, not defend continuously what he is not, as one cannot prove a negative.
