That's the problem. He probably wasn't actually TAKING them. In fact, he was probably never diagnosed with a mental condition, until now. Too late.

Since he was living at home, I lay this at his mother's feet for not getting him some kind of help years ago. She ignored the problem hoping it was a "passing thing". Everyone else that knows him, including the local Community College, knows this guy had serious mental issues.
