Initial reports on Times Square shooter indicated he was “white” too.
If there are conflicting reports as to whether shooter was white or black, it could indicate something in between.
Supposedly a Judge was on-site as well, not sure of what capacity however. Obama released a statement, Bret just read it, nothing of interest.

Why is it that the Left can speak irresponsibly in situations like this, and not get called to account? Is it because they’ve been doing it for the last 40 to 50 years, and nobody in a responsible position seems to care? The Left makes the political atmosphere as “heated” as anyone, but when they do it, it’s okay.

When a vacancy occurs in the office of United States senator or representative in Congress by reason of death or resignation, or from any other cause, the vacancy shall be filled at the next general election. At such election the person elected shall fill the unexpired term of the vacated office.
B. For a vacancy in the office of representative in Congress, if the next general election is not to be held within six months from the date of the occurrence of the vacancy, the governor shall call a special primary election and a special general election to fill the vacancy. The governor shall call the special primary election and establish its date within seventy-two hours after the office is officially declared vacant.

Rest assured, there will an enormous outcry on the news updates and reporting, as well as the blogs, about this. It will be huge.
You could be on to something as well...Just reported she was shot in the temple and the slug “exited out the side of her head”. Supposedly responding to voice commands and woman talking to shep said “she is expected to make it out of surgery; but long term damage is still unknown.”
Praying that G*d grant peace to all victims and their families. No place for such senseless violence.
