"Nice attempt to distort the issue. The issue is not citizenship, It's NATURAL BORN CITIZENship, as the Constitution requires.
The Citizen, in the Gallery of the PEOPLES HOUSE, was questioning Barry's NATURAL BORN CITIZENship status not his citizenship, And with good reason.

If as he and his party claim, Barak Obama (Sr.) was Barry's father, than Barry is not a Natural Born Citizen even if he'd been born in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House."

The question he needs to ask is “Why has Obama spent 2 million dollars on Lawyers hiding his birth certificate?”

I'm cutting him some slack on this one

SCOTUS just discussed points of Orly Taitz's case in conference yesterday.
Boehnor is 2nd in line to become POTUS in the extreme circumstance Obama is found not eligible

Boehnor knows that if he openly acknowledges Taitz might have a case then the Marxist Media will absolutely SAVAGE him with accusations of manipulating his way into the office of POTUS.

It doesn't matter that their accusations would not make sense because Biden is 1st in line.
They are Marxists, their arguments don't need to make sense.

Boehnor knew the setup for what it was and responded (I think correctly)... politically.

That's the problem with this whole subject. The hard core excoriate everyone and anyone who doesn't sign up to the outcome they want, completely dismissing the possibility that people can disagree with them in good faith.

The Speaker simply believes Obama was born in Hawaii. He doesn't believe the state of Hawaii would simply say and do nothing if a President was presenting a fraudulent state COLB to the nation, a document the state could and would legally dispute without violating any privacy laws. You can think he's wrong, but that's hardly a ridiculous thing to think. Some would even call it reasonable.

The Speaker also most likely dismisses the whole two-citizen parent argument, as any court that takes up the issue likely will (and the only court to specifically discuss the question did). Again, that is hypocrisy only if you believe your own, personal interpretation of undefined language in the Constitution is the only one permissible. That could be called hypocrisy, and certainly is vanity.
