BEEBE, Ark. (AP) -- Preliminary lab results show the blackbirds that fell from the sky in central Arkansas died from blunt force trauma
(Excerpt) Read more at todaystmj4.com ...
The fish in the bay died because it was a colder than normal December and its happened before. Silly inclusion on the list.
There have also been scattered incidents in South America.
Something very weird is going on.
An unsuccessful Chinese bioweapons deployment - or a test....
Arkansas' Game and Fish Commission says the birds didn't test positive for any pesticides. Officials are still awaiting lab results from tests for other toxins and infectious diseases.
Mystery solved! (The headline doesn't match the article contents)
Something stunned the birds in flight then they died of smacking into the ground?
Many beleive that before an earthquake there are subtle changes in the crust and mantle which alter the magnetic field which many animals use to navigate.
I think the 1 thing you are all forgetting to ask yourselves here “what would cause 5000+ birds of specifically just 1 species to suddenly drop dead? Or fall out of the sky and then die from impact?”
Everything I have heard so far would cause any birds in that area to all die, regardless of species. But a mass extinction of just 1 particular species, sounds godly or type biblical to me.
And come on your gonna try and front and say that thousands of a particular species of fish also suddenly die right around the corner, days apart and there is no connection? COME'ON SON!!! (Ed lover voice, youtube it). This was something crazy, something biblical or military or maybe even extra terrestrial, WHO REALLY KNOWS ANYWAYS???
I think this is going to be a mystery for a while, no debunking here anytime soon!!
Would hail do the trick?
Are they really sure that the birds are dead and not just pining for the fjords? :=)
Birds swarm. Perhaps they just followed the leader into the ground?
Next week maybe they’ll discover gravity.
-COW FARTS-
wind shear
That was my initial thought also.
That’s also something certain people would not want publicized. /tinfoil hat on.
Funny that the hugh population of birds in Africa haven’t seen this.
It might be happening there, but they might not be reporting it as quickly.
Hail!
They weigh about 2 ounces. A dead one falling from a high altitude would reach a low terminal velocity and not cause much damage.
I don’t think they died smacking into the ground, or any other hard thing for that matter.
Because all there was (AFAIK) were dead birds. There were no birds with broken wings or legs or broken necks.
There (once again AFAIK) no reports of piles of feathers or trees or buildings with incidental feathers attached indicating high speed collisions killed them
They basically were dead when they hit the ground.
Some explosive concussion? Could a bolt of clear-air lightning (like off the edge of a storm cloud to the ground well outside the storm) do that? Wouldn’t there be scorched birds?
Sounds to me like some kind of intense compression event. But it might be microwave-generated. I’ve heard stories of birds falling over dead who were perched near microwave transmitters when they were turned on.
that would be cooked, not smashed, birds
