There are a number of solid conservatives being talked about this time, unlike the last race where there really was no realistic conservative choice.

I see you put that "realistic" qualifier in there. As you well know, there were a number of SOLID conservatives running last time, but the alleged conservatives couldn't fall over themselves fast enough to tear them down.

Watch for the buzz words, sure to come fast and furiously not long from now:

electable
name recognition and notoriety
prior executive experience
must “look” presidential
a senator or congressman simply can’t get elected, or rarely do
communication skills
