Income redistribution will improve our souls: just ask Nicholas Kristof of the New York Times. Ping to Today show list.

“Collective salvation” is damnation of all who buy into it.
After all, why should anyone worry about their mortal soul if the government is doing it for them?

Media commies like Kristof have declared themselves to be domestic enemies of the Constitution. Who will keep their oath to defend it?

Sounds like he’s running for Chairman of the NY Politburo.
Maybe he should go and watch the movie “REDs”, then he can see how it all comes out before he makes any rash decisions.

Kristof's stunning (and harebrined) "melancholy of the soul" will become melancholy of the soul and everything else when the Left succeeds in reducing everybody to poverty.

Well, kristoff can kiss off...what this country needs is a redistribution of WORK ETHIC, not income.
Kissoff, if you want to improve you soul, go to church...but my money won't do it for you.
Besides, no one "distributed" income to any of us who work, we worked for it...so REdistribution is an incorrect term.

What is particularly disingenuous about people like this is the intentional distortion of the Christian message concerning true charity. Government intrusion and power grabbing through the tax system impairs the charity that the individual can engage in. First, there is less available to give when it is confiscated. Second, the mechanism for it’s use is markedly inferior and more expensive. Third, it detaches the giver from the act of charity itself and prevents gratitude on the part of the receiver. Finally, and this may be the most important, it can never be truly charitable since it doesn’t flow first from the love of God. Excessive taxation and redistribution is a sin against charity and only serves the individual doing the confiscation.

How much of HIS income has he re-distributed??
My bet, his charitable donations fall below 1% of his gross income.

Don’t visit the wikipedia page of Nicholas Kristof unless you want to vomit over this ego inflated self-important “journalist”. Red diaper baby poster boy if there ever was one.

Nicholas Kristof should sell his home/condo, liquidate his assets, drain his savings/stock options, pull his kids out of high priced colleges/their savings account and take the lead to spread his wealth. Show us a real humanitarian example, pictures and self-righteous columns about your "work" in Africa which is mired in dictatorships and collectivism, just makes you look like a "useful idiot".
Unless Kristof and is family lives in the misery he wishes to pimp out to the masses, a hypocrite he shall be.
