Barack Obama lets his faith show
By: Carol E. Lee December 28, 2010 04:28 AM EST
HONOLULU President Obamas trip to church Sunday followed a steady rebirth over the past three months in public expressions of his Christianity.
Obama has publicly mentioned his Christian faith more times in the past three months than he has over the past year. He has more frequently cited passages of the Bible, including repeated references to the spirit of Genesis 4:9 I am my brothers keeper; I am my sisters keeper which was a mainstay of Obamas 2010 campaign stump speech. And hes taken his family to church twice, a shift for a president who has preferred to worship privately since the end of the 2008 campaign.
He presents his Christianity as an important aspect of his identity but one he doesnt want to foist upon anyone else, and he would rather risk downplaying it than offending somebody, said Jeffrey Siker, a theology professor at Loyola Marymount University, who has studied Obamas use of the Bible in his speeches.
One recurring phrase and Ive noticed this frequently of late this notion that we are our brothers keepers, which is kind of a mantra for him, Siker added, noting that Obama would see the notion of being our brothers keeper as something that crosses all religious lines.
Obama has used the reference, which was a regular feature of his on the 2008 campaign trail, in two dozen speeches since September. Before then, hed used it just four times as president. References to his Christian faith also have appeared more times in Obamas speeches since September than they did before.

Barack Obama lets his birth certificate show
What a colossal load of BS.
Every time he blabs about his “Christian faith”, somebody should run the Stephanopolous interview in which he talks about his Muslim faith and the little Snuffalupulous stutters and corrects him.
Actually, it is more scary and likely more truthful that Obama very well means it in the fashion used in Gen 4:9.
It doesn’t imply he intends to defend our honor and freedom, rather he might very well believe he is more capable than all of his brethren and has the authority to deny the freedom and liberty of his brethren whenever he sees fit.
Such a concept though, was mentioned in denial, as a lie by a murderer in Scripture. The acceptance of being another’s keeper is not promoted in the passage, nor could one properly call such a concept as “Christian”. On the contrary, a good argument can be made that a believer in Christ places faith in Christ first, and doesn’t attempt to counterfeit the role of God in the lives of his brethren as a substitute for faith in Christ in all things.
His position is more antiChristian, than Christian.
Obama is not fooling anyone, except those who beg to be fools.
His Brothers Keeper with evryone elses money.
Shakespeare
The sooner he hears it, the better....LOL.
Americans Look For A Return To Values

The (Midterm) election is over, and its results leave no doubt that the American people want change. But correctly gauging just what that means will be key to the success of the new Congress and government at every level. Certainly people want Washington's policies to help support and encourage economic recovery, but for most Americans, it's not just about dollars and cents.
The sweeping anti-incumbent attitude and desire for change that characterized this election were not the result of an American people divided neighbor against neighbor, or red vs. blue. Where there is division is between a united American people and many of those in this nation's institutions including politics whose values are outside the American mainstream.
Let's start with what the American people don't want. They don't want a reinvention of this country. They are not looking for something that is simply new or radical in a way that departs from traditional American values.
What they do want, more than anything else is a return to this country's moral core the same moral core supported by an overwhelming number of Americans.(Excerpt) Read more at investors.com ...
No, that was when Bush was Prez. It was probably more likely the Ron Brown funeral, or at least a funeral during Clinton’s presidency.
The memory is not correct. It was at Ron Brown’s (Clinton’s commerce secretary) funeral.
You are correct and here’s a you tube link:

My memory aint so great after all, it was Ron Brown’s funeral.
The Wellstone funeral is where the rats turned a memorial into a political circus.
This makes my stomache turn. This is so last week...it didn’t work so they are headlining it for they’re master satan.
AH HA!
But the important part is we haven’t forgotten how these characters behave.
There. Fixed it.
Thank you, but I knew that already. The post was about something else, which happened during Clinton’s Regime
Remember how the MSM used to deride Bush for his faith? 0bama happens into a church and they erupt with glee.
Video of Clinton laughing outside Ron Brown Memorial, and when he sees the camera, starts crying... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lf8TOGrq8Bo
