On Monday night's edition of "Hardball," host Chris Matthews talked about putting the birth certificate controversy surrounding President Obama to rest.
"Why has the president himself not demanded they put out the original documents?" Matthews wonders.
"If it exists, why not put it out?" Chris Matthews asks.

That is what is all about. Matthews saying "if it exists.." is what is interesting.
For some time now the Obamaists have reportedly worked on obtaining a typewriter from a museum (I forget the State) of the same kind and brand that was used in Hawaii.
Then they found a source for the same type of paper that was used to issue the COB in those days from a stock of antique papers.
Then they found a source for old ink/ribbon which could be used to hide an examiniation of the ink used to print/type the document.
Lastly, they have worked out a reasonable way to visibly “age” the document after it had been forged.
I remember “governing” facts but not always the smaller details but all the above has been posted on FR and should exist and be retrievable if you want them.
Perhaps some senior minds/hands could help us out. I remember reading them but not exactly when and which thread.
Yeah, I was wondering how long it would take them to forge something.

Those applying for a first time US passport need :
Certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state*
*A certified birth certificate has a registrar’s raised, embossed, impressed or multicolored seal,
registrar’s signature,
and the date the certificate was filed with the registrar’s office, which must be within 1 year of your birth.
Please note, some short (abstract) versions of birth certificates may not be acceptable for passport purposes.

The state of Hawaii says that they have not released a certified birth certificate.

If it took Chrissy two-and-a-half years to realize that releasing a vault-copy birth certificate is no big deal (if there’s nothing to hide), any guesses on how long it will take his fertile brain to figure out that spending multi-trillions of dollars that a country doesn’t have isn’t good economic policy?

Beware the servile flatterer’s specious snare... many of us have said..the birth certificate is a ruse..to distract from his natural born citizen status.

The seal on the supposed COLB is not ‘raised’. It is ‘lowered’ (i.e. debossed, not embossed). It is a debossed pattern meant to be part of the signatures on the BACK of the document. It is not a ‘raised’ (i.e. embossed) seal read from the front.
Seeing this ‘seal’ on supposedly authentic documents seems confusing though. Maybe DOH puts this seal on everything with their signature on it - whether it is certified or not. An embossed seal is very hard to pick up on a scan. Very hard.
According to other sources there have been over 20 TWENTY SS numbers used in Obama’s name
