Tick, before you jump into a Glock, look at the XD models. Might be better for someone that is not an experienced veteran.

Mine is about 15 years old and has had a lot of use.
I never get tired of looking at what a great job you did with that!
Oh and, 50 is right about the CZ. You should look into those also. CZ’s are excellent hand guns. Wish I had one.
Titanium is much much stronger and it is lighter
Titanium is remarkable stuff.
Yes, 91/30 what I meant...
Its a beast...
The two most useful properties of the metal form are corrosion resistance and the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal.[6] In its unalloyed condition, titanium is as strong as some steels, but 45% lighter
Titanium is superior to aluminum alloys
Believe me, if we had significant Titanium deposits in the USA we would be using Titanium for a wide array of applications.
Have you seen the MythBuster episode where they make a working cannon out of duct tape? Awesome little howitzer firing an eighteen pound ball.
>> XD models. Might be better for someone that is not an experienced veteran.
That certainly describes me, Dave.
Better in what way? Reliability, ease of use, durability, ???
What model would you recommend?
Thx

LOL! I saw that this weekend. I thought for SURE that barrel was going to pop, especially after having to force the ball in! It was a pretty tight fit.
Red Green would be proud.
No LoL!
Duct Tape?
The Submarine fleet had this tape called E.B. green *electric boat*
The stuff was meaner than cat ****!
People claim it has held at test depths LoL
It might prove to be the best $80.00 you’ve ever spent. :)
Even if you NEVER shoot it - it looks GREAT over a fireplace mantle.
Really though, it’s much more fun to shoot.
Also, if the bolt DOES bind up on ejection, pull back on the safety screw to cock the bolt. That way when you work the handle, all the force is working to twist the bolt open, and none of it is going towards cocking the bolt.
Then follow with a short drill/brush session as described earlier.
Final word of caution: Mosins have a tendency to multiply over time.
>> If you’re looking for a great 9mm... check out my rig. A CZ 82
Very nice!
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’d have to locate a used one, right? Or are they available “off the shelf”?
Thx
You have Freep mail
Thanks, but you helped too. And the gunsmith. And Google. ;)
CZ 82s are milsurplus used, but they are readily available
http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/c/c-r-guns/p/cz-82-czech-9x18-makarov-military-pistol,-very-good-condition,-one-mag-c-r-/cPath/290/products_id/3050
Cz 83s can be had new but use the .380 cartridge vice the 9x 18 makarov. And the cost is about double that of the Cz 82.
Well, all I know is you have the finest Cz 82 around now!
