LANGUAGE WARNING ON OPENING (NSFW) ***

A savage commentary on the American far right using the Westboro Baptist Church at least to some degree as its template this is a story of American conservatism gone horribly wrong. It looks to be edgy, disturbing stuff and if the film lives up to this teaser then Smith may very well have just reinvented himself. Check it below.

More proof that that the Westboro "Baptist" "Church" is just a front group whose sole purpose is to make Christianity look bad.

Screw Kevin Smith. Let him rely on the non-Christian market to purchase his work.

BTW, it’s worth mentioning that Phelps was a delegate at the 1988 Democratic convention, and that Al Gore attended a fundraiser held by Phelps’ son that same year.

Now, of course I don’t believe most Democrats want anything to do with Phelps, and I don’t believe Gore shares the views of the Westboro kooks. BUT, if there’s going to be a movie about the people who’ve rubbed elbows with those freaks, it bears mentioning just whose elbows have been involved.

BTW2, has anyone else ever noticed you never see Phelps and The Tall Man from the Phantasm movies at the same time?

I'm just sayin'...

And I’m pretty sure Kinky Kelly was a democrat as well.

At the very minimum, he did have a certain fondness for donkeys.

Wouldn’t take much to make a movie about a Blue State. Big Brother meets Sodom and Gomorrah meets Jesus Freaks.

There is nothing “edgy” about attacking Christians. On the contrary, in an age where people live in mortal fear of offending Muslims, attacking Christians is the clearest indicator of personal cowardice.

I don't expect liberals to do fact-checking, but Fred Phelps ran for governor of Kansas - as a Democrat. He was also Algore's campaign chairman in that state.

I couldn't remember who this guy was until I put his name into the IMDb web site and it came up with this fat tub of crap.

One other interesting item on the inbred communists in Hollywood, this is from trivia about Kevin Smith: He was the first and only guest on Michael Moore's Fox pilot The Michael Moore Show (1997) (TV).

Imagine that bloated pig turd Michael Moore on Fox TV!!! Hahaha!

Kevin Smith Too Fat to Fly

"..Actor-director Kevin Smith has made a career by saying nothing as the character Silent Bob in hit movies such as "Clerks" and "Mallrats." But the comedian has had plenty to say on Twitter after Southwest Airlines removed him from a flight Saturday for being too fat..."

He takes out his frustrations on Christians because he can’t fit his fat ass on a plain.

Thanks Wesboro Baptist Church members for making conservatives look stupid. We all know that they are not conservative nor Christian but they sure are irresponsible when they use the “church” tag. This is Wesboro’s fault not Hollywood’s. Well ok it is both of their faults since Hollywood should know that they are not conservative or christian.

Fred Phelps is a long time Democrat. Here's a blurb from Wikipedia:

Democratic Party

Phelps has run in various Kansas Democratic Party primaries five times, but has never won. These included races for governor in 1990, 1994, and 1998, receiving about 15 percent of the vote in 1998.[27] In the 1992 Democratic Party primary for U.S. Senate, Phelps received 31 percent of the vote.[28] Phelps ran for mayor of Topeka in 1993[29][unreliable source?] and 1997.[30]

Support for Al Gore

Phelps supported Al Gore in the 1988 Democratic Party primary election.[31] In his 1984 Senate race, Gore opposed a "gay bill of rights" and stated that homosexuality was not something that "society should affirm".[32] Phelps has stated that he supported Gore because of these earlier comments.[33] According to Phelps, members of the Westboro Baptist Church helped run Gore's 1988 campaign in Kansas. Phelps' son, Fred Phelps Jr., hosted a Gore fundraiser at his home in Topeka and was a Gore delegate to the 1988 Democratic National Convention.[8] Gore spokesman Dag Vega declined to comment, saying "We are not dignifying those stories with a response."[34]

See what 30 seconds of Googling can bring ya.
