These days, I’d say it’s almost always, once government is involved. All the descriptions in the Grinch song are too mild for how the government stinks at this point.

The reality is that Miller should have won easily. He had the official backing of the GOP (I agree is was lukewarm support at best) and the supposed Palin machine. It wasn’t even close at the end of the day. As much as I love Sarah, this tells me alot about her potential as the lead person on a Presidential ticket. If she couldn’t help Miller win Alaska, she has no hope to win America. I hope she stays as a pundit for the next two years, then runs in 2014 for the nomination to go up against the Dem who stole the election from Ted Stevens in 2008.
