Why do WE always have to take care of every person with a sad story?

There are eight million stories in the Naked City; this has been one of them.

The state run commie lib "media" appears to be trying to cover all of them.

I wasn't aware that the Philippines has turned into a Concentration Camp. You would think the guy was getting sent back to Cuba or North Korea after receiving his U.S. Taxpayer funded education. Oh the humanity...

Don't we have some Expatriate FReepers living there? How are they allowed to use the Internet in a prison camp?

After 21 years those people have moved on and do not find this guy to be that important.

I’m totally against illegal immigration. And what I’m going to say sounds pussyish. I’m looking at this in a military way. If we were able to send every illegal immigrant back to their place of origin we’ve made a whole lot of enemies on top of the ones that were already there. Our military isn’t invicible and if every country coordinated we wouldn’t have a chance. I think this is our future. We defend our country and still lose.

Not the same as illegals coming across the border. There are legitimate asylum applicants, and sounds pretty much like his father sought and was granted political asylum. I do not know what the law says about children of political refugees--evidently they are sent back when of age.

This guy is busted by ICE-an educated man from an educated family, but they can't even arrest and keep illiterate, no-English speaking, law breaking illegals who have committed a crime for the most part.

The Phillipino people we have known are some of the hardest working we have ever seen and are very family oriented and education and work oriented. Of course they were mostly military and probably quota immigrants.

Not saying he should get special privilege, but he is not a Dream Act candidate--those are Harry's cross the border pals who voted for him so they can get education(without learning English), health coverage, food stamps, subsidized rent, Social Security, help with utilities, free lawyers with an interpreter thrown in, and bring over 30 more relatives who are equally needy and who also need an interpreter--for 30 years, or life, and expect one to be furnished gratis.

The Tacoma Washington paper has been running a similar story. Time for the Ministry of Propaganda to put out a less obvious storyline.

If we could somehow convince the water carriers in the MSM to actually carry water uphill we could generate enough hydroelectric power to power several medium size cities.

“It read ICE,” he said. “My heart just sank.”

In other words, Farrales knew he was guilty of breaking our immigration laws.

There have been many in this country who have become citizens legally. Do the same, Farrales.

Meet Jason.

Jason is white, middle class from the midwest. He desperately wants to go to Harvard, but hasn’t accepted the wisdom of Global Warming. Nor has Jason accepted that he’s had an easy life just because he’s white. So he has the gall to become resentful when he’s rejected.

So Jason can get a wage slave job while we liberal politicians raise his taxes to pay for minority people living in our country illegally can go to the school that rejected him.

And now Jason is bitter.

As you can tell, Jason is a racist jerk who just doesn’t like others.

Meanwhile, 15,000 illegal ‘yoots under 25 fill California’s prison system.

Where is that story, LA Times?

Agreed, but why does the hell does it take 20 years for an immigration asylum case to be adjudicated?

If Farrales can get the Philippine govt to vouch that his father was politically prosecuted, then his father’s claim (and that for his children) for political asylum could be granted retroactively.

It might not solve the citizenship issue immediately, but it would give him a chance, with his new lawyer, to see what could be done to help him stay here. The defense of “Incompetent legal advise” is acceptable in courts.

Sounds like a nice guy and a productive one. He is the kind of immigrant we need to help build up America.

His case should be given a second, comprehensive review.

And I’m no bleeding heart. Illegals have wrecked my county, neighborhood and cars. We helped put some of the drug-dealers and drunks in jail and hopefully on the road back home.

Even the older legal immigrant-to-citizenship Hispanics don’t like the illegals so we’re not against enforcing the law, but there are a lot of people here who were not responsible for it. We should show them some compassion. We need a new classification of “resident alien” based on a no-choice immigration status due to the actions of their parents.

Seems to me he and his Family have had 21 years to get his Citizenship taken care of.
With his American education, maybe he can get a job on the Chinese managed Panama Canal.

Great. What do we do for all the people who have been murdered, raped, robbed, been smashed in car wrecks by drunken illegals, or had their identities stolen by illegal aliens?

Speaking of Harvard...

Diversity is our STRENGTHTM.

NO cheers, unfortunately.

Americans go to live in the Philippines all the time. It is no big deal for Mark Farrales to take that spiffy Harvard degree and do the same.

Still..... He would be an asset to the United States. Too bad the people promoting the Dream Act could care less about securing the border. Nor do they care about deporting illegal aliens his age who are complete leaches and drains on society. Many are criminals. So sorry about that Mark. I never will support a Dream Act
