It is you who are setting up straw men. Go back and read the descriptions of homosexuals early in this thread. It depersonalized them and that is what I objected to. I can say it a million times and you will refuse to hear me, but I’ll say it again: I oppose the radical homosexual agenda that seeks to alter our common understanding of marriage, family and common decency. I’m not trying to “fool” anyone, and you ought to know it. And that is my last word to you.

years ago I knew a couple of homosexuals and I too thought they were different, stupid me I was an idiot.
I found out that they were pretending be someone in front of me and then another person when they thought I was not there.
Every homosexual is for their agenda, every homosexual will work in some way to have their agenda passed.
Ask those homosexuals do you want repeal of don’t ask , marriage, adoption, etc etc etc then they will all answer the same and it will be for their agenda.
Ignoring their agenda because one has a friend is helping their agenda.

First... I’d like state my position on the primary issue of this thread:
As a former Marine officer, I am strongly against the latest vote on DADT.... and the same against same sex marriage.
Second... I used to be proud to be a member of FR.
Third... I’m totally appalled by many of the comments on this thread by the so called “owner” of this site and many of his groupie acolytes. For those of you in Rio Linda, “appalled” means disgusted.
The chest pounding, self righteous tough talk and name calling says it all about some of these FR keyboard ninjas... little people that can type “big” things that they’d never have the guts to say to someone’s face.
