First... I’d like state my position on the primary issue of this thread:
As a former Marine officer, I am strongly against the latest vote on DADT.... and the same against same sex marriage.
Second... I used to be proud to be a member of FR.
Third... I’m totally appalled by many of the comments on this thread by the so called “owner” of this site and many of his groupie acolytes. For those of you in Rio Linda, “appalled” means disgusted.
The chest pounding, self righteous tough talk and name calling says it all about some of these FR keyboard ninjas... little people that can type “big” things that they’d never have the guts to say to someone’s face.
I’ve seen scores of threads like this over the years, but never one quite to this level of vitriol. Makes one wonder if it’s a bunch of closet queens who protesth too much. Ha.
