The article fails to mention the most important fact: Had the USSC not stopped the re-re-re-recount, Bush still would have won.
To leave that out of the article, and for ANYONE not to mention it as a response to libs who complain Gore would have won if the recount was allowed to be completed, is irresponsible.
If you thought that election was nuts, just wait until 2012. I sense heavy use of the race card, Black Panther “marches”, another looooong Supreme Court battle if dear leader loses, and potential violence if the Court rules against him.
That debacle led to me finding and signing up for FreeRepublic.

I saw the promo and thought “no way” - - then it came on and I was drawn like a moth to a flame. Or more aptly, a gawker to a big wreck along the highway...

This is why Al Gore hates the whole world and everyone in it, including those yet to be born.
What we also learned during this fiasco was that when Dems bussed people in to protest (many of whom were grabbed off welfare lines) they were “concerned citizens demanding justice.” However, when Pubs came in on their own dimes, the press referred to them sneeringly as “Republican Operatives.” Never has the bias of the media been on such blatant display.

A decade really does put things in perspective and history now has resulted in Bush being a respected elder statesman who mind’s his own business and Al Gore’s insanity has only intensified. Gore has spent the past decade on a powerpoint tour explaining his apocalyptic theory that the planet would be engulfed in flames by 2011 due to cattle flatulence and the use of cars. Not only has he lost his mind, he’s lost control of his johnson and has capped the decade off by raping hotel personnel. History will record the Clinton/Gore ticket as the first all rapist POTUS/Vice President team. If Al Gore had not been born with a multi-million dollar trust fund he would be a streetcorner crackpot with a cardboard sign scrawled with the words “the end is near!!”
Still to this very day, the unlawfully discarded absentee military ballots have NEVER BEEN INCLUDED IN THE VOTE TOTAL!
