The goal is to destroy everything that makes America great: family, free markets, free education for all, the work ethic, the all-vounteer military. The sad part is that most of the clowns who advocate this crap don’t even realize that they are just pawns and will be discarded by the progressive elite when the destruction is complete.
This is in effect a bloodless purge of the military. And it’s step 1 of destroying the military. The next step I would bet is to introduce political education into the military, and attendance will be mandatory. Anyone suspected of not having the correct political attitude would be getting a less than honorable discharge.

Two to three generations of collectivist and lukewarm generic Protestant government schooling:
Franklin D. Roosevelt and his New Deal
Three to four generations of ( by then) essentially godless collectivist government schooling:
Lyndon B. Johnson and his Great Society
Four to Five generations of ( by now) **utterly** godless and virulently anti-Christian collectivist schooling:
Obama with his Obamacare, flat out Marxism, and coming Death Panels
Next generation citizens in godless, collectivist, government schools:
