If we’re being objective, she probably puts Chris Matthews to shame. I don’t know the specifics and everything but her and the Gov are friends. I mean, I don’t think Obama and Matthews are friends. Or Obama and Olbermann or most of his other lefty fans. He could probably care less about them. He just uses them for his purposes.
But Greta has actually been to her home and hung out, she’s done these stories where she basically just hangs out with her husband and rides snow machines, etc...
The thing is I’m pretty sure Greta is fairly liberal politically, at least on social issues. Her husband was a big Hillary supporter. And Greta in general has supported women in politics. But it’s more than that. There’s a personal connection between the two of them that you don’t often see. I just think it’s a genuine friendship.
Was W friends with any reporters/TV people? Did he hang out with any of them? Even supporters. I mean, I don’t think Hannity was flying down to his ranch and riding horses with Laura. Did any reporters ever go out to Reagan’s ranch and hang out with him?
It certainly is interesting.

No. But none of them was “just one of the guys” with camera crews going on hunting trips and hanging around their house doing a semi-documentary series, either.

Somehow, I missed that first sentence. No, I don’t think she has a “tingle” and she pressed her pretty hard in some of the early interviews, if you saw them. Sometimes VERY hard, especially in the campaign. I agree she has probably become intrigued (who wouldn’t?) and is glad to have access, but Chrissy-like? No, I don’t think so. Plus, there is a “there” there, unlike the Zero, in whom you could become interested.
Greta’s husband is still an informal adviser for Sarah. Her interviews though were on the up and up. Greta does a great job, like a real reporter.
