In my view, I'm just a reporter, who's simply relating the events unfolding before me. In my humble observation, we're witnessing the emergence of an historic figure, who will one day stand large in our nation's collective memory.
I know that sounds overblown to some people, but I'm afraid that it's the plain and simple truth. I just feel fortunate that my vision is unclouded enough that I see it now. A great many Americans won't see it until much, much later, but in time, they will see it.
