Oh, I’ll bet they were. Say what you will about Axe, Gibbsy, and the rest of the crew, but I’d like to think they have the basic political common sense to avoid photo ops where the president has to skip out after a minute or two to go eat gingerbread cookies.

I don't think there is anything wrong with that view. That may be what Joe Farrah (WND) thinks--he certainly thought the country had a better chance with Obama than McCain.
On the other hand, we need also to recognize this. The reason we all hate Nancy here is because she is so effective at pursuing a domestic agenda that is the antithesis of what we believe. However over the next two years; perhaps as long as four or six years, the primary contest is likely to be international policy as it affects America.
Nancy is a thug but she is also one of the most effective politicians in the US.
If external events do not overcome us over the next two years, I think we are likely to get a Republican that will be the complete package. But between now and January 2013, the country is exposed to events that might well end the republic.
The SCOTUS has been after him since his first speech to Congress, collecting evidence against him and waiting to jump till the masses turn on him.
Yesterday's Obama having to go play and using Clinton in his place is a preplanned effort from someone; the presser wasn't Zero's idea.
