Hillary's Bad Hair Week
The American Thinker ^ | Ken Blackwell | December 08, 2010

Posted on 12/08/2010 1:49:38 AM PST by Scanian

Even the Washington Post's Chris Cilizza noticed. He designated Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as having "the worst week in Washington." This is something of a comedown among liberals, who have been fawning over Hillary. Cilizza noted it was an unusual slip. "She has traveled the world, winning kudos everywhere she goes for her grace and, um, diplomacy."

Cilizza notes the damage done to Hillary's image by the WikiLeaks revelations. Those leaked cables -- those undiplomatic diplomatic documents -- show what he calls "a chatty and at times petty State Department offering strikingly candid assessments of the relative strengths and weaknesses of various world leaders."

Well, now Chris Cilizza is putting it most diplomatically. These leaks are devastating.

As former Speaker Newt Gingrich says, they show an administration wholly incapable of protecting classified documents. Why, Newt asks, does a low-level Army private have access to a quarter-million classified documents? Who gave this grunt a security clearance? Former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton chimes in: This WikiLeaks scandal shows an administration so weak, so disorganized, that it does not understand the first thing about national security.

Indeed. How can Hillary Clinton continue to get kudos from anyone? Grace? Diplomacy? The leaks show that she tried to find out if Argentina's lady president was on drugs. Why do we need to know that? Argentina's people deserve our respect. Their leaders don't. And trying to find out such sensitive information is crazy. It could only lead -- as it has led -- to a huge embarrassment.

We have to recall Watergate. Why did Nixon's people do it in the first place? And why did Nixon attempt to cover up?

Hillary's traveling the world was a problem even before these leaks.

Now we know all about the Chinese Fire Drill AKA The Zero administration.
Let me rephrase that:
The rest of America knows what all of us here on FR knew all along.

We are only seeing the shadows on the wall. Assange, Wikileaks, the PFC on ice who supposedly leaked the material in question, the dalliances in Sweden without a condom... it reeks of setup, of whom or what I'm not certain. After hearing about Stuxnet, and the planning and expertise it took to pull it off, a “leak” to embarrass and discredit a political faction, complete with various “fall guys” would be child's play by comparison. Is it the Krystalnacht for draconian internet control as some claim, or something even more sinister? The upshot is that it feels like we're being fed a story.

A previous comment referred to 0’s regime as a “Chinese fire drill.” Then we hear from pundits and radio talkers who insist that the 0 regime is the vehicle for a New World Order takeover of the US with the imposition of a totalitarian system here with most of the structure in place already.

If I had to bet on it, I’d say that the Obamanoids have a lovely, calculated plan to stage a coup-—either bloodless or bloody-—to impose a totalitarian, Marxist state here but it is mainly THEORY that they have developed on college campuses, unions, and ACORN-like groups. The theory probably sounds extremely viable and they surely have big money they can count on. But in practice everything that crowd tries to pull off (other than some election campaigns) comes out all f_____d up. Because it is the nature of the beast. Homos, slackers, moochers, malcontents, and assorted misfits make up the “movement.” There are some bright ones in it who can talk a good game and sketch out a plan but their ability to put it into effect is extremely dubious. Plus their numbers are extremely small.

That is not to say to ignore them. To the contrary, they need to be under constant scrutiny and opposed with every legal means at our disposal. But becoming paranoid about them is not realistic.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. Other than getting him elected in the first place (and a lot of ducks lined up for that to happen), most of what that crowd has attempted has fallen far short. And his inner circle (rapidly dwindling) is no better. Not to say they can’t be dangerous but their collective anger is turning their aim at him.

Thank you.

It is great to be vigilant and prayerful but never fearful and/or paranoid.

It also seems wise to take what the gloom-and-doomers say with a very large grain of salt. And bear in mind that those same individuals (mentioning no names) seem to have a vested interest in peddling gold, emergency food stocks, alarmist books, and other items.

I find it VERY INTERESTING that the heat on this guy Assange ratcheted up hugely after the information came out that was HUGELY embarrassing to Hillary in particular. Her globalist friends/allies have finally found the gumption to find him and arrest him on trumped-up charges?!

I think obama has been neutered, but the “shadow government” has been placed, and is carrying on anyways.

His arrest could just be a form of protective custody.

It is going to take months and months to sort out the she-said-she-said-he-said allegations over the “sex by surprise” charges. Sweden is likely sympathetic to the Wikileaks aims.

In the end, I wonder if the nations involved will just say they all knew most of this and since they need each other to continue their various schemes and scams, all will be (sort-of) forgiven and Assange will become just another lefty global celebrity living off his exploits and street cred.

I have thought for awhile that Hillary had decided she had a very nice life and would not continue in electoral politics. She is at the age where some part-time gigs for her various causes and a lot of political hostessing and fundraising will keep her busy enough.

its the eyebrows which scare me, she needed them thinned out. that brooke shield’s look has never cut it with her. They’ve probably lightened as she has gone grey. She made a conscious effort to grow her hair out this past year and i do not think it’s flattering for a woman her age.
