1/1 CAV Americal I CORPS ´68-69.

Thanks for your service!

Military Channel´s running a good show on Doolittle´s Raiders. I always loved the B-25.... One of the airplanes of my youth....

Now my big shows are the Recitals in the Spring.

But THOSE were the Days!

That one was, of course, 1n 1996.

Doolittle Raiders on board USS Hornet - 18apr1942

One of my favorite's as well - my surname is Mitchell - I used to have a license plate "B-25" on an old station wagon I once owned.

It´s a small thing, but the vertical stabilizer on the B-25 is exactly that of today´s A-10 Warthog. And the tail of the C-130 seems scaled from the Hughes Hercules.

With apologies to Shakespeare I´d add that ´I have a certain aviation affliction...which is nothing to those that know me....´

Good evening, Pro...((HUGS))...did you watch Sarah Palin’s Alaska last night. She went hunting with her Dad and a family friend and she bagged a caribou.

How are you feeling? Being VERY careful? Is tomorrow the doctor visit? Gotta get you all better by Christmas.

Aloha, Hawaii...((HUGS))...congrats to your Giants. How was your weekend?

I arrived back in Anchorage late, late Friday night in a snow storm. It was a white knuckle cab ride home in almost whiteout conditions. Now I need time off to rest. LOL!

The destroyer Shaw explodes after a bomb sets off her forward magazine. In the foreground is the bow of the battleship Nevada as she makes her famous "run for the sea".
