Palin’s a couple of lucky breaks, high cheek bones and a shapely ankle away from a trailer park. She’s cramming for the top job in the world without ever having aced a test in her life. She’s the very definition of a lightweight.
Her kids’ lack of discipline and displays of raw ego reflect a troubling ethos at the core of the Palin family, passed from parent to child, one might reasonably surmise.
I’m a lifelong conservative, hammered out and shaped on Ronald Reagan’s anvil. I warned on FR that W. would be a disastrous president, and I was correct, even though even I never believed in 2000 that a so-called conservative would start an unjustified war of aggression on flimsy pretenses just because a tinhorn dictator dissed his daddy, which war future historians may mark as the moment a great power slipped from greatness and began an inexorable and irreversible decline.
As I was right about Bush, I believe just as strongly I’m right about Palin. We cannot afford another failed presidency. She would be a disaster. Wake up conservatives and stop letting yourselves be dazzled by a photogenic face. She is NOT the real deal.
Sorry, Beckett. You're just flat-out wrong about Palin. She's as "real" as they come. Millions upon millions of conservative patriots haven't been "dazzled" by her good looks and obvious charm.
There's a reason the conservative right is solidly behind this woman, and that's because she "gets it" like no one we've seen since Ronaldus Magnus.
Doubt her if you must. That's your right. Just understand that the majority of your conservative brethren have given her their blessings and their support. They're going to make her president, and she is going to do us proud.

If you're trying to say Sarah's a normal person, that's what we need. We need people with COMMON SENSE, decency, and America's best interests at heart.
For example, normal people here on FR with no political experience instinctively know what's right and what's wrong about the laws that are currently being passed. They may not have gone to Columbia and Harvard like obama, but they have common sense about the disastrous effect of the up-coming obamacare.
