St. Louis blogger Adam Sharp has posted a series of videos from Van Jones’ recent talk at Washington University. The most exciting clip was when they decided to toss Adam out of the event! But his subsequent posts have been revealing on a number of fronts, including Jones comparing Fox News to Satan.
Today Sharp Elbows adds one more clip into the mix. Many of you have followed Glenn Beck‘s analysis of how desperate progressives will begin to drive wedges in this country that may trigger the kind of trouble we’ve watching unfold across Europe. It seems Van Jones is now predicting just that. Jones is unwavering that the U.S. is “going to go into a tough period.” A “potential nightmare scenario” he calls it.
Jones sees two trends. A country that is growing more diverse. And one that he is certain is going to be “less and less economically prosperous.” He repeats his forecast. Makes you wonder – what intel does he have that he can be so confident of American economic demise?
These trends, says Jones pointing us to history, make up a recipe: “That is not a recipe for common ground, that’s a recipe for a battleground.”

You don’t have much faith in the citizens of Michigan do you? Your state Governor controls the police and National Guard in your state, NOT the Feds. If your governor says close the highways in and out of the state, that’s what happens. Shutting down an airport is so easy. Park a semi crossways in the middle of the landing strip and another one on the long taxiway. Done.
Want to stop the military from advancing? Shut off the fuel lines for their vehicles and aircraft. Civilians control all the fuel lines and food stuffs across America.
The Fed is only a threat when people obey. When people refuse to obey that’s when they realize that without the cooperation of states they aren’t squat.
I think God is on our side of this fight.

you have made some excellent points...the time is not now though....I will wait till those who started this come one more time. I will then make my final decision, to take up arms to serve, protect, and defend this nation. Too do less, would violate my sacred Oath to God and man.

more excellent points...though America and all of America, I believe, will know when the time comes upon us. I believe, there will be no doubt as to what should be done, when the time comes. Those of us left, may even seek death but yet shall not find death. There is much which is a mystery. We all live in a grand mystery, or do we? We may (some of us) find out. I do not look forward to this time, so as I stated, I believe the time to act, has not come upon us. I’ll continue to vote and pray for the best outcome, till the time comes. And there will be no doubt, America and Americans will know the time has come.

I’d like to believe it would be laughed at, but I think it will be more than just civil unrest. They are going to create some kind of major crisis in which Obama can appear to be the savior with the answers. I think that most are unprepared and will find themselves facing a choice of death or dependence on the government. How did Hitler do it? The people LOVED him! Children snitched on parents, neighbors on neighbors...I think it will go far beyond ‘civil unrest’

I think they are fully aware that we are well armed and will revert instead to creating whatever crisis it takes for the unprepared majority of American people to face a desperate choice between suffering/death or dependence on them. Those who become dependent will view us as the enemy and a threat to their govt. lifeline. Snitches will abound and dissenters will be made examples of. Sadly, there agenda isn’t going to be difficult to achieve. Hitler did it.
