America's biggest strategic problem in the Balkans is the role of Turkey, through its pawn, Haris Silajdzic is trying to compete with neootomannic position in the Balkans and the Middle East - said in a dispatch of the U.S. ambassador in Ankara since January this year, which was sent to the State Department called " Ankara87 ", published on page Wikiliks.
Comparing the Turkish efforts as "ambition" Rolls-Royce ', but with the resources of' Rover ', "the ambassador wrote that, being aware that they have their own resources for this policy, they must find" your own errand boy in the form of Haris Silajdzic, Mouse' Ala, or Ahmadinejad, who will be happy to represent Turkey in their mission "- written by the Independent newspaper."
List assessed interesting fact that Americans are still in December 2006. The thought that Serbian President Boris Tadic supports Serbia's entry into NATO, although the official policy of the country's military neutrality.
"Freed (Daniel Fried, former Assistant Secretary) has decided to offer Partnership for Peace to support Serbian democratic forces in the coming elections, as President Tadic gave a strong rationale in favor of the Euro-Atlantic future of Serbia," the dispatch of 12 December 2006 . the year, which was sent from Paris.

Another earth-shattering Wiki (non) secret...Turkey would love to re-create the Ottoman Empire!
No $hit, skippy!
The only reason nobody has drilled Assange a new anus in his forehead is because it would largely be a waste of a perfectly good bullet. This guy is an attention whore of the first degree, and I wonder if the best thing to do wouldn’t be to ignore him. He couldn’t stand it...
I’m sure Erogan (Turkish PM) has ambitions of reconquering Greece and the Balkans for Turkey. Heck, Obama might even help.
More evidence that many other moves, and military expenditures and acquisitions of military abilities, have less to do with actual Turkish security needs, and more to do with the Islamic ruling parties desire to promote Turkey as a power-player in the region.
Right now I think he's got his hands full just trying to conquer Turkey.
I have spent a lot of time in Turkey, and have the sense that the Turks are quite happy being Turks owning Turkey and have no grand imperila ambitions. They have a deep sense of history and don't see a future in trying to take on all the problems of the Balkans and Middle East.
In short, it sounds as though what is frightening in this cable is its apalling ineptness.
I am merely commenting on the idiocy of an American Diplomatic cable suggesting in all seriousness that the Turks wish to reestablish the Ottomon Empire. Whatever the problem with the Kurds, they are not the heritors of the Ottomon empire. In fact their issue is that they want to split off and form a united Kurdistan from parts of Turkey, Iran, and other parts of the region.
The issue is that they now control Ankara.
