"It isn't an American game."
Well, neither are golf, boxing, archery, hockey, tennis, track & field, and many other sports - they were all begun elsewhere. Millions of Americans play soccer, and have done so for many years.
As for the World Cup, this is a typical EU-type sellout of Western civilization, kissing the Arabs butts in exchange for Euros, just like they've done in Grand Prix racing. There is no longer a French Grand Prix, but here are now two Grand Prix races in the Arab world.

Not like Soccer...my daughter happened to love this game and was even on a varsity soccer college team...it still doesn’t change the fact most Americans do not even have a clue what this game is all about.

The majority of that thoroughly corrupt cabal is non-European (gee, even one American).
