Arthur Wildfire! March: I posted the same list of threads here on the Rush Live thread. You may find Matchett-PI’s post to me useful for context, as well as 58 & 67 by mewzilla

Matchett-PI: Thank you! I missed the end of Rush, so double thanks. Will be digging into your links.

I lament that there is not more serious discussions, links, and research about the topics Rush talks about here on the Rush Live Thread by the dedicated Rush fans who post here.

He is always on topic and provides at least a starting point for analysis and discussion and links to other threads on the same subject, but the thread rarely makes the best use of the forum at its disposal.

As I listened to Rush talk about the new disclosures on the Fed bailout, I kept thinking about Bush’ recent comments that he approved tarp because “they” told him the global financial system was collapsing and he didn’t want to be responsible for starting the Second Great Depression.

I don’t doubt his sincerity and fear at the time on this point, but I always thought he was forced into being duped by a malevolently premeditated crisis that guaranteed secret funds for the BHO adm to launch the most willfully traitorous anti-constitutional power grab in US history.

Thank you for the ‘heads up’. So many trillions, it made me physically sick today. I still feel indigestion.

Right. Bush was rolled. He and his father were both in awe of people with good memory skills [such as Powell]. They lacked confidence in their own common sense. I don’t think GW Bush was ill-intended.

I haven’t watched any TV in a long time. Does Paulson strike you as smug? I get that feeling when I read his transcripts.
