AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

It’s even worse in Eastern Kentucky. Some places unemployment is 15% or higher. My hometown, the factory that employees 1/3 of the county just shut down. Hard to buy the news reports of economy looking positive.

LOL! We weren’t unkind to our pets and wouldn’t let them suffer needlessly but when money is tight, you have to go with what provides your livelihood.

It provides a good lesson for what happens when government rations health care. Choices have to be made and someone is going to get the short end.

Wait For It!

Probably has happened already since I’ve not read Moron Dowd yet. But who will be the first to say Down’s runs in her family, even though it’s on Todd’s side, and she’s affected?

Yup. I understand. We’d all be “Wilburs” under the new Health Care, and apparently there aren’t any “Fern”s around to save us. (Charolette’s Web was my favorite book growing up. lol)

Gotta a link?

Cantor is pro healthcare bill or something? That would make him a tea party target.

An excerpt of an email from lib coworker. It’s from a recap of Sarah Palin’s Alaska, I think.

Sarah takes time to meet her nephew Matthew, who is also one of five children. He has Down Syndrome like Trig, and Sarah tearfully remarks that he gives her hope for Trig’s future. There’s no blogger bile I can spew at that. Curses, ursa mater

"We want to keep the pre-existing condition clause."

I can understand that but this caller is correct, you can't force insurers to take pre existing conditions and stay in business. There could be a safety net that would be cheaper than what the healthcare bill will do. Cantor wants to repeal most everything else. We shall see what happens in two years.

A bigger problem for Duncan Hunter would be that defense contractors (contributors) from his district made out better than usual when Hunter was chairman of the Arms Services Committee.

The bigger problem is that few in Congress on either side (least of all Republican leadership) of the aisle have the moral authority to write the narrative Thomas Sowell was writing about. They were either part of the problem or silent when their voices should have been heard.

Silent and spineless.

So tired of Republicans bending over backwards to “work with” this administration. UGH CANTOR.

Ditto cam working here.

Eric Canter hasn’t gotten it yet. We don’t want “results”. We want government trimmed and out of our lives! We don’t want the same old shit with a slightly different twist.
