Palin’s a sure-fire loss. When the time comes, the media will go hog-wild for the Black Messiah, and Palin shot herself in the foot forever when she quit her office in Alaska for spurious reasons. And there’s always Tina Fey.

Palin is speaking more coherently these days, and she reads those scripts written by her four speechwriters really well (momma grizzly—who’s making this stuff up?). However, there’s no way.

Out here, the bedwetters are still crazed for the BM, mostly because of his color. Hillary is the wild card. She IS vulnerable to a “dark horse” Republican. I want to see her take her boss on. Again.

I didn’t ask about Sarah. I disagree strongly with you about Sarah’s chances. I dislike the constant negative barrage about Sarah as much as I dislike arguing with fellow conservatives in negative ways which hurt the conservative movement.

I’m asking about the positives of OTHER candidates. This seems to be too difficult for some reason.

Why is that?

Palin shot herself in the foot forever when she quit her office in Alaska for spurious reasons.

Only two types of people repeat this leftist lie. Sarah's political opponents and brain dead sheep who get their news from Comedy Central. That you choose to do so does not reflect very well on your character, as it is an obvious lie to anyone who knows the truth.

Paid Obama operatives and left wing bloggers were harassing her with dozens of phony ethics lawsuits, sometimes filling them using cartoon character names, using Alinsky tactics that were bankrupting her family and stifling her administration. She had personal legal bills over $500,000 with no end in sight. These bogus lawsuits were also costing the state of Alaska, and the governors work was not getting accomplished.

She was literally spending ALL her time defending these frivolous suits, and they had effectively hamstrung her administration. These radical tactics were working because Alaska has a unique ethics law that does not protect elected officials from personal legal bills...so the game was on.

Having been through three legislative sessions and having implemented most of her agenda (which was very successful) and knowing she had a responsible Lt. Governor who shared her vision of Alaska, she thwarted their efforts by taking herself out of the equation. She recognized she had become a lighting rod to her political opponents and nothing more could be accomplished in her lame duck year if she were at the helm.

That single selfless act stopped all the nonsense and Alaska has done well under the new governor, as he has been able to continue Sarah Palin's agenda without the distractions of bogus lawsuits.

Some of her opponents say she did this for purely selfish reasons, but that begs credulity. By resigning she risked that she could have ruined any potential future political ambitions. (Her political enemies like you certainly push this narrative) There were no guarantees her book would sell as it did. As vilified as she had been it is entirely possible she could have fallen flat with her endeavors since then...resigning was a real risk, but she saw it as the right and principled thing to do for her state.

I think this is what infuriates her political adversaries the most. For someone so excoriated as 'dumb' she seems to out smart them at every turn.

To say she 'quit' implies she was just lazy or didn't care. That is obviously not true. Her involvement with the Tea Party was instrumental in the GOP gaining as many seats as they did in the last election. She alone among Republican 's aspiring to be president deserves credit for November's record breaking elections.
