You know something ? The leaked cables make it impossible for Hillary Clinton to continue as secretary of state.
She will resign.
Her participation in the Lockerbie bomber deal didn't get her fired. Why would this?
I think she planned this whole thing. She’s the one person who has access to ALL these communications.
Is it part of higher level strategy?
This is NOT a simple spilling of info; it's intentional and most likely to further World Government oversight.
The BEST way to handle the warning from the UN?
We not longer will belong to the UN, and remove your sorry asses from our country. Your Headquarters will be turned into a Homeless Shelter in 90 days.....get OUT!
I am not up to speed.
I was thinking the opposite - this story made me feel Hillary was in on the leaking... only time will tell.
This is the same woman who kept 900+ FBI files on AMERICANS in her White House quarters. Have we all forgotten how important information gathering is to Mz Clinton?
I'm not sure I agree. I think it depends how she deals with the leaks.
The fact that State is probing Kirchner shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I HOPE they're that diligent. That someone would disclose the correspondence about it is VERY disturbing.
Also, whether spooks were looking for personal passwords and the like is not as disturbing as the disclosure. At the least, there shouldn't be any way to link diplomats directly to such activity. That's plain stupid, and if Hillary! is shown to be responsible or connected, I suppose she does have bow out.
And if so, that probably drives a stake through her heart for 2012 election. Do you think BO could have done that to avoid a potential nomination challenge?
Hmmmm...
I doubt it helps a Presidential bid either.
BO’s WikiLeaks have not only damaged HC but BO’s WikiLeaks have ruined any chance for a success in Afghanistan similar to President Bush’s success in Iraq.

However, the cables are far from being a laughing matter for foreign diplomats in Kabul who fear that the portrayal of the president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, and his government in a deeply unflattering light will lead to a further slump in US-Afghan relations.
Suspicions of tensions were fuelled yesterday when a promised face-to-face meeting between Barack Obama and his Afghan counterpart failed to materialise.
It was called off, US officials said, because of bad weather making it difficult for helicopters to fly Obama to Kabul from Bagram airbase, where he met troops. A videoconference planned in its place was also dropped, officials said, because of the weather. The two spoke by phone.
Hillary Clinton also phoned the Afghan president to reassure him of US support, but it remains to be seen whether the relationship will be weakened.
US diplomats in Kabul are furious with WikiLeaks, and believe it may have done real damage to the vital relationship.
